Astra Ignota is a minimalist puzzle game set aboard a sentient spaceship adrift between stars. You must grow symmetrical galaxies from their cores outward, fill the entire board, and solve 60 rewarding, handcrafted puzzles, all while uncovering a mysterious sci-fi story told through brief narrative episodes. The original idea comes from the game Tentai Show (also known as Galaxy), by the Japanese puzzle magazine Nicoli, creators of the Sudoku. The game features multiple grid types, simple gameplay, and multiple tools that get unlocked as the story progresses. And no time pressure. It's about patience, observation, and discovery.
